João Prince Regent, medium crown 32 pearls, 2 pearls in the central arch, 7 pearls in the front internal arches, 5 pearls at the beginning of the external arches and 3 pearls inside them, 1-point diamond diadem, legend with serifs in the letter "S", on the reverse the cross of the Order of Christ (✠ 21 mm ◁⭥ 13 mm), cantonated by quatrefoils with closed petals, on the reverse legend the letter "H" is fused in the serifs, World Coins Portugal KM#331. Coin minted during the reign of D. João Prince Regent (1799-1816), born in Queluz on May 13, 1767, son of D. Maria I and D. Pedro III. Due to the Queen Mother's illness, Prince D. João took on the responsibility of government from 10 February 1792, assuming it definitively as Prince Regent from 15 July 1799, until his mother's death.
