Carlos I on the yachts D. Amélia I to IV, Special issue from Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda (INCM), coin integrated into the EXPO`98 numismatic plan, World Coins Portugal KM#695a. D. Carlos I's oceanographic campaigns began in 1896, the exploration of the Portuguese sea coast focused on a limited area, but notable for its large bathymetric variations. Between 1896 and 1907, he carried out 290 stations, with four different vessels, all named Amélia and having the sequence numbers I, II, III and IV.

Half Real Preto Copper Coin of King Duarte I (1433–1438) of Portugal – Rare. It displays notable singularities: a crown decorated with a group of 6 superimposed pellets, arranged in 3 vertical pairs \ⵓⵓⵓ/, and a legend separated by rosettes (❁): €DVARDVS ❁ R€X ❁ PORT. King Duarte I, known as "The Eloquent", was the eleventh King of Portugal. He was born in 1391 and reigned from 1433 until his death in 1438. His wife was Queen Leonor of Aragon.
