1942 - 1969 X Centavos Coins

The Portugal bronze X centavos coins, or 10 centavos, minted between 1942 and 1969 by the Portuguese Republic (World Coins Portugal KM#583), belong to a series issued during that period. The series was established by Decree-Law No. 32,648 of January 29, 1943, and its production ceased under Decree-Law No. 49,167 of August 4, 1969. A total of 250,000,000 coins were struck in various years throughout its circulation.
