Portugal, coin of 1 Escudo 1966 Alpaca or 1$00 1966 alpaca of the Portuguese Republic, with international code of World Coins Portugal KM#578, belongs to the third series of coins of the Portuguese Republic of one escudo. Coins were minted in the alpaca alloy (Cu 610 - Zn 200 - Ni 190) and coins were minted from 1927 to 1968, they were created by Decree 13797 of June 21, 1927. The issue ceased under the terms of Decree-Law 49167 of August 4, 1969. Withdrawn from circulation under the terms of Decree-Law 267/81 of September 15, 1981. Issuance on the various dates minted between 1927 and 1968: 45,000,000.

Portugal, 5 Escudos coin from 1973, cupronickel, or 5$00 Escudos 1973, cupro-nickel, belongs to the second issue of 5$00 Escudos coins of the Portuguese Republic. Created by Decree-Law no. 45,129 of June 12, 1963, its issuance ceased under the terms of Decree-Law no. 293/86 of September 12, 1986, and it was withdrawn from circulation on January 1, 1989, by Decree-Law no. 427/88 of November 19, 1988. The designers and engravers of this coin were Jaime Martins Barata (obverse), Norte de Almeida (reverse), and José Rosa (engraver). Its international code in the numismatic market is World Coins Portugal KM#591 (Krause Coin Catalog)
