Portuguese Guinea, 50 Centavos Coin 1933, The 1933 50 centavos coin from Portuguese Guinea is one of the first coins minted for circulation in the former Portuguese colony of Guinea. It was established by Decree No. 22297, dated March 9, 1933, and was struck in Alpaca alloy (Cu 610 - Zn 200 - Ni 190). The recorded mintage is 600,000 pieces. Its international reference is World Coins – Portuguese Guinea KM#4.
