Angola, bronze coin of 1 Escudo 1974 with offset axis error, appears classified in the Alberto Gomes catalog, code 17.07

€90.00

Angola, coin of 1 Escudo 1974 Bronze with Oblique Axis, 1 Escudo 1974 of Angola with a deviated axis error, appears classified in the Alberto Gomes catalog with the Oblique Axis variant "8h" code 17.07, in fact the displacement is "7h" and not at 8am as the catalog states due to a possible analysis error by the author, all the coins I have seen on the numismatic market appear to be at 7am. (The normal imaginary minting axis of this coin is horizontal (↑↓), however, due to human error in assembling the dies, that is, the incorrect placement of the dies in the press, there were coins that were minted with deviated axes, this being one of those errors.
